Exuding a modern elegance into every space he fashions together, interior designer Ahmad AbouZanat of design studio Project AZ approaches each project through a lens of comfortable luxury. Specializing in both commercial and residential interiors, the designer began his career in the Middle East, bringing his discerning eye for beauty to his US-based clientele. Here, we tapped the designer to find out what he’s most looking forward to at this year’s WNWN… along with a few other necessary details.

Coffee or Tea…Coffee, freshly ground.
Town or Country…a balanced mix—although I’m a mountain person.
Design is…exciting, functional and timeless.
Fave floor at 200 Lex…the 4th floor
Understated is the new Luxury.

Fabrics are…the skin to furniture, delicate and must be taken care of.
Furniture can…make or break a space.
Luxury for me is…details in craftsmanship.
Art will…always inspire.
Design Muse…Pierre Yvanovitch

I’m a firm believer in…second chances.
The world needs more…compassion.
