A Last look at the Kips Bay Show House with 200 Lex!
On Monday May 20th, the New York Design Center hosted a “last look” cocktail reception at the 49th Kips Bay Decorator Show House New York, to celebrate this year’s spectacular house and its designers.
This highly anticipated show house certainly did not disappoint, with over 24 designers completely transforming the Upper East Side townhouse. The evening was a special opportunity for guests to view the house for the first time, or to go back and visit their favorite rooms one last time before it closes on May 28th.
The Show House attracts 15,000 visitors each year, and proceeds support the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. The Clubs offer innovative programs to more than 10,000 young people between the ages of 6 and 18 at nine locations throughout the Bronx, with essential afterschool programs and development initiatives aimed at helping them recognize their potential for growth and success. The esteemed Show Houses have raised over $30 million to date. The Kips Bay Decorator Show House New York Chairs are Jamie Drake, Corey Damen Jenkins, and Alexa Hampton.
