Pom Rugs founder and designer, Olivia Andonian, finds that women are central to her brand, inspiring and trusting her to bring their visions to life.

One such designer is the founder of Pom Rugs, Olivia Andonian—a trailblazer who has not only influenced the world of women’s fashion but has also brought her unique talent to the world of interior design. For Olivia, each rug exhibits the trust and collaboration between designer and client, a process that brings visions to life in the most beautiful way possible. Women play a pivotal role in propelling her brand forward. From female designers and architects to end clients, their originality inspires her to create rugs that are not just pieces of decor but works of art. Her passion and determination for design stem from her career in fashion, where she found joy in dressing women and being part of their self-expression through clothing. Influenced by her father’s love for the arts and her grandmother’s talent for painting, she grew up surrounded by art and travel, which became the foundation of her passion for design. Here, Olivia went off the cuff, dishing on the luxury of comfort, the power of kindness and how women continuously amaze her.

I’m a firm believer in… achieving luxury & comfort in every home, the importance of quality regardless of the price point we are working with.
The world needs more… First and foremost, kindness, peace and basic care and needs for all of mankind. The world would be a much better place if every single minute of life for everyone in it was lived in pure bliss for the best life has to offer in every aspect of the way.
Design is… A creative language, the expression of a thought, feeling or idea. It is the creative translation of that emotion. And to that effect, it must be achieved with a certain purpose/humility and wonder.
200 Lex gives me… a platform to display my work and to connect/collaborate with creatives to continuously transform visions into unique rug designs and interiors.
I can’t live without… my loved ones, my dog, travel & laughter, art & color and I adore wonderful little intimate dinner parties with my dearest, closest friends and their wonderful and brilliant conversations.
For me good design looks like… something that gives you pause and makes you feel an emotion.

I am… proud to be a female designer and very grateful to have had the opportunity to design Women’s Fashion and to now design beautiful rugs which are housed in exquisite interiors around the world. It’s an honor to be given a client’s trust and collaborate on making their vision come to life.
