A Spectacular Soirée in Paris hosted by Jiun Ho, Workshop Collection and Manufactures Cogolin
On January 17, 2024, Jiun Ho, in partnership with Workshop Collection, and Manufactures Cogolin, hosted their fourth annual Soirée in Paris during Paris Design Week. Nearly 200 members of the international design community gathered at Fondation Louis Vuitton for cocktails, a private, closed-gallery tour of the museum’s celebrated new Mark Rothko retrospective, and a formal dinner prepared by Michelin-starred chef Jean-Louis Nomicos. The partnership between the three firms was a celebration of the beauty of design, affirming the power of collaboration, and the continuous pursuit of excellence in their respective areas of design.
The Fondation Louis Vuitton, a masterpiece of modern architecture with its fluid lines and innovative design by the legendary Frank Gehry, served as the perfect backdrop for the evening, mirroring the creativity and vision that define the world of design and art. Says Jiun Ho on the exhibition, “Rothko’s profound and emotive works, with their rich colors and textures, resonate deeply with our ethos at Jiun Ho – where design is not just about aesthetics, but about evoking emotions and creating experiences.
“Workshop Collection’s international debut at Fondation Louis Vuitton- surrounded by friends, professional colleagues, and industry luminaries – was nothing short of a dream,” said Workshop/APD associate principal Andrew Kline. “The opportunity to celebrate extraordinary design and craftsmanship in this historic setting is one we will never forget, and we’re thankful to everyone who has joined us on this journey, from our partners and team to our clients and collaborators.”
Overall, the stunning artwork, impactful architecture, impressive crowd and delicious food all made for le meilleur soir!
