Celebrating 40 Years of Vaughan
Vaughan, one of the world’s most renowned designers and manufacturers of decorative lighting, furniture and accessories, is delighted to be entering their 40th year in business.
Established in November 1983, led by artist-designer couple Lucy and Michael Vaughan, they opened their first shop on the Lower Richmond Road in London to meet the demand for fine decorative lighting from the international design community.
Over the past four decades, Vaughan has built a reputation for its exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to their clients. From stunning chandeliers to elegant wall lights, and from decorative mirrors to handsome tables, Vaughan’s designs have graced the world’s finest hotels, restaurants, and residences, becoming a hallmark of luxury and sophistication.

Vaughan takes pride in their commitment to using the finest materials, both innovative and traditional manufacturing techniques, and cutting edge technology to create lighting that is functional and also works of art. Each piece is meticulously crafted by skilled artisans who share Vaughan’s vision of excellence.
In addition to their dedication to craftsmanship, Vaughan has pledged to uphold sustainable and eco-conscious practices. Using energy efficient LED technology in many of their designs, 90% of the collection made from recyclable materials such as solid brass, wood, and glass. Taking steps to minimize the carbon footprint of their business Vaughan sources products responsibly, working closely with suppliers to ensure high standards, with the aim to reduce, re-use and recycle to minimize their impact on the environment.
As part of the 40th anniversary celebration, Vaughan will be introducing a new collection in autumn 2023. The Bramdean Collection will feature unique designs that reflect their forward thinking pared down aesthetic, while maintaining the company’s essence of timeless elegance and unparalleled quality.
