Decorators Club Holiday Party

On December 4th the Decorators Club kicked off the season with its iconic annual holiday party!

The first Monday evening in December always serves as the festive setting for the Decorators Club Holiday Party.  Members of the over 100 year old club and industry guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. With a dress code of  “festive red holiday attire” it was the perfect setting to toast a wonderful year of design.

This year’s honoree was British designer Kit Kemp, founder and creative director of Firmdale Hotels and Kit Kemp Design Studio.

Proceeds of the evening were designating for the Decorators Club important programs including the Decorators Club Education Fund with the goal of supports and promotes education in interior design. Through this fund, the DC awards scholarships to high school students with demonstrated financial need, allowing them to enroll in pre-college courses at one of its six partner credited design schools: NYSID, FIT, Parsons, School of Visual Arts, Pratt and NYSIT.
