Durant by Bert Frank at The Dennis Miller Showroom
Bert Frank’s latest lighting collection, Durant, has officially arrived at Dennis Miller NYC (suite 1210) at 200 Lex. Hand-assembled in Britain, the collection blends solid brass with ridged clear glass to create a look that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking. Its retrofuturistic silhouette recalls early visions of modernity while feeling perfectly suited to contemporary interiors.
The design pairs a slender brass stem and domed shade with a ridged glass diffuser that refracts and softens the light, casting a glow reminiscent of traditional Holophane prisms. Offered in four brass finishes and ten powder-coat colors, Durant can shift from understated elegance to striking modern statement depending on the chosen combination.
“When I first saw Durant, it stopped me in my tracks,” says Justin Orlansky, owner of Dennis Miller. “I’m obsessed with lighting that has presence, pieces that feel engineered, intentional, and beautifully made. Durant checks every box. It’s sculptural, it’s smart, and it throws the kind of light that completely changes a room.”
