Interior Design Hall of Fame Awards
Each year, Interior Design brings together visionary leaders, creative innovators, and rising stars for an unforgettable evening celebrating the very best in design. The Hall of Fame Gala is not just a chance to be inspired by the remarkable work of the year’s honorees; it’s an opportunity to forge new connections and strengthen existing ones. The Glasshouse, with panoramic views of Manhattan served as the prefect venue for this year’s celebration which brought together over 1000 designers, architects, and industry trailblazers.
The 2023 Hall of Fame Honorees are Carlos M. Martínez Flórez, Managing Director, Principal of Gensler; Joshua Aidlin and David Darling, Founders of Aidlin Darling Design; textile designer and weaver, Suzanne Tick; and for the first time, a special Icon Award will be presented to David Rockwell, Founder and President of Rockwell Group. Each honoree received an award from Interior Design Editor-in-Chief Cindy Allen as well as a special documentary short showcasing each honoree’s career and achievements produced especially for the event.

Established in 1985, this esteemed event celebrates the visionary contributions of influential figures in interior design. These luminaries have left an indelible mark on the industry, and their visionary work continues to inspire and shape the spaces we inhabit. Among the esteemed ranks of previous Hall of Fame inductees are legends like Clodagh, Meyer Davis, Piero Lissoni, India Mahdavi, Marcel Wanders.
