Konekt Introduces the Silo & Rib Collections
Konekt is excited to present two new collections, Silo and Rib, now on display at its newly expanded showroom at 200 Lex (Suite 413).
Shown together, the two collections continue Konekt’s exploration of opposing characteristics – finding contrast and balance between strength and fragility, soft curves and sharp lines, adornment and moderation.
Silo Collection Description:
Inspired by the form and function of grain silos, the Silo Collection strikes a balance between utilitarian purpose and aestheticism.
This sculptural collection features solid wood and hand-finished brass or stainless steel wrapped legs. An optional hollow brass or stainless steel dome sits atop each table, continuing the shape of the cylindrical leg and transforming it with a striking and elegant presence. The magnetized dome is removable, revealing inlay brass or stainless steel and a playful location to store small objects from remotes to matches and coasters.
Each table is made by hand in Pennsylvania by highly skilled artisans. Available in a variety of wood and metal finish options.
Rib Collection Description:
Konekt’s latest lighting collection features ceiling pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces showcasing a variety of shapes and sizes. Each piece of glass is blown in Italy and delicately framed by thin brass ribs. A cylindrical brass finial, with optional hand-wrapped leather or suede, elongates the pendant form and adds a finishing touch.
