Kravet Introduces Three New Collections
Kravet, known for its fabric, designer trim and wallpaper, announces the launch of three new collections: two fabric lines and a new wallpaper offering.
Barbara Barry Midsummer
Kravet introduces its newest collection with Barbara Barry, Midsummer. Capturing a playful and magical mood, this collection of fabric is a departure for the renowned designer, with a focus on lightness and youthful enthusiasm. Barbara Barry’s signature color palette remains true throughout, inspired by her watercolor artistry. Midsummer fuses texture and luxury with casual color for an approachable aesthetic.
Barbara Barry states, “I am a watercolor painter, so it is not a surprise that my favorite pattern [in the collection] is “FAERIE,” a hand-painted print that has such a whimsical and playful feeling to it. I built the rest of the collection around it. Faerie feels kind of like a daydream of woodlands and flowers. It comes in five colorways allowing the designer to have a wide range of choice. It is supported by textural solids, tonal stripes, and a little embroidery.”
“As with most of us I have become more casual, working from home in my yoga clothes spending more time water coloring and thinking about what is really essential. This new collection speaks to a younger and more causal audience, and during these uncertain times, it is nice to have a less expensive offering,” Barry concludes.
