Interlude Home announced 4 new products: The Osprey Extension Dining Table, The Deerfield Extension Dining Table, The Laurent Ottoman and Laurent Lounge and Swivel Chair. Wendy King Philips, Interlude Home’s Creative Director, described what makes the brands new pieces unique and the inspiration that went into these new designs. Read below for descriptions and Wendy’s insights!
The Osprey Extension Dining Table
A dash of midcentury and a touch of organic, the Osprey Extension Dining Table- including a 24″W removable leaf extension- is crafted of washed grey wood with natural rattan and grey cerused accents. This item is made of solid wood and will not be exactly as pictured because there may be subtle deviations in the hue after finishing which can be expected as a result of natural variations in coloration of the base material.
Wendy King Philips:
I absolutely adore this table. The mix of materials including the natural rattan pattern in a geometric, architectural form plays beautifully with the rounded corners of the table top. I love the contrast. And, the flexibility of an added leaf makes it even more functional.
The Deerfield Extension Dining Table
Juxtaposing a rectangular top with a curvy trestle, the washed grey Deerfield Extension Table in sungkai wood delivers organic, unbeatable style. Easily expands to 120″ with 24″W removable leaf.
Wendy King Philips:
The intricate pattern on the base was inspired by handmade ceramic tiles I spotted in Europe. We created the pattern to draw the eye, yet it is so easily placed in any environment. And, with a leaf extension, nails form and function.
The Laurent Ottoman and Laurent Lounge and Swivel Chair
At once sophisticated and playful, the Laurent Ottoman and Laurent Swivel Chair both boast an all hardwood frame with interlocking construction. Available in Interlude Home Custom Upholstery fabrics, COM (customer’s own material, or COL (customer’s own leather).
Wendy King Philips:
One of my absolute favorite chairs, in fact we have two in our living room! I spied a similar vintage design in Paris and recreated it for Interlude, including adding a swivel to the base. It’s honestly the most comfortable chair- no one wants to get up!
