OPUS MEMORIA by Rinck
Rinck, Suite 410, has unveiled its new capsule collection creating a space born of reverie, an inspired sanctuary.
The capsule collection is inspired by the ambiance of a demiurge artist’s studio, a place where creativity flourishes, stimulating exploration and imagination. In this ensemble of emblematic works, each is the fruit of extraordinary craftsmanship, where attention to detail and the quality of the materials dovetail into furniture that is at once functional and artistic. While these furnishings are indeed eminently useful, they also – and more importantly – tell a story, that of a creator exploring textures, materials, and forms to compose a rich, resonant, inspiring world.
Consisting of a desk, a chair, a throne, a side table, a cheval glass, a table lamp, a totem lamp, and a rug, this new ensemble reinvents the art of faire salon– the French term, in the bohemian spirit of the 19th century. Meant for gathering to socialize in a way that frees everyone from bourgeois conventions and outdated expectations. The pieces embody both the timeless character of Rinck’s signature creations and the savoir-faire of its exceptional workshops.
Rinck has mastered the language of luxury furniture, creating one contemporary collection per year along with numerous bespoke pieces for connoisseurs, collectors, and designers. This expertise is rooted in over 180 years of craftsmanship across a wide range of styles. With a deep understanding of complex mixed-materials and finishes, Rinck fabricates the most intricate pieces, working seamlessly with wood, leather, marquetry, soft materials, precious stone and metal.
This capsule collection was first unveiled at Rinck Gallery, 18 rue de Beaune in Paris during Déco Off, then showcased at Le Grand Palais and will be revealed next at our 200 Lex showroom this Wednesday, May 14th with our President, Valentin Goux.
