Women In design
Paving the Way with Julia Noran Johnston
The New York Design Center is constantly inspired by the talented women in our design industry. Throughout the month of March, we are celebrating some of these remarkable women who continue to make a lasting impact through our “Women In Design: Paving the Way” video series. This week, we sat down with the founder of Business of Home, Julia Noran Johnston at The Gallery at 200 Lex.
Julia Noran Johnston founded Business of Home in 2009, and has made it the go-to business publication covering the home furnishings and interior design industry. She has worked in the shelter category for 25 years, starting out at Architectural Digest and Veranda. She is a member of the Design Leadership Network and the Decorators Club, and lives New York City with her husband and two children.
