Roberto Lugo of The Wexler Gallery Debuts at the Met
Roberto Lugo, represented by Wexler Gallery, is an American artist and ceramicist that has seen a great amount of creative growth as of recent. With shows debuting at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, growing acquisitions among private collectors, and his continued collaborative exhibition at Wexler Gallery, Lugo was recently featured in the New York Times.
The article linked above details Lugo’s journey from Graffiti Art to unveiling his pottery at the Met. With 26 works of Lugo’s included in the exhibition, he is the most represented artist in the show. The show opens today, November 5th, and is ongoing.
Wexler Gallery is located on the 4th Floor of the New York Design Center. Some of Lugo’s work will return to the showroom starting after the New York Salon Fair ends November 15th. His work will also be on display at Wexler Gallery’s Philadelphia location as well as Design Miami 2021.
