The 2022 Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse, located at 145 Columbia Heights and just steps from the world-famous Brooklyn Heights Promenade, is a historic townhouse that seamlessly blends old-world architecture with modern luxury.

Each room has been dramatically transformed through the creativity of over a dozen interior designers from Brooklyn and New York City’s celebrated design community. The showhouse is open to the public through Sunday, October 30th.

Owned by the same family for over six decades, from the 1840s until the early 1900s, the showhouse offers a rare inside look into a quintessential Brooklyn townhouse steeped in history while discovering the visionary work of talented interior designers. The 26’-wide renovated townhouse features a grand 66’-deep double parlor with soaring 13’ ceilings and preserved period details, a spacious full-floor primary bedroom suite and five beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces. Most recently is an unexpected fifth-floor addition with floating stairs to the roof deck complete with both city and water views.

This year’s participating interior designers include Antonino Buzzetta Design, Antonio Deloatch, Baxt Ingui Architects, Chused & Co, Circa 22 Design Studio, Collyer’s Mansion, JDK Interiors, JS Interiors, KD Reid in collaboration with Bo Concept, Laurie Blumenfeld Design, Meagan Camp Interiors, MeLinda K. Design, Nigel Rollings Landscape, Rupp Studio, Studio Dorion, Tara McCauley, and the Brooklyn Heights Gardens, Inc.

Ellen Hamilton and Erika Belsey Worth serve as the co-chairs. Interior designer Harry Heissmann is the Honorary Chair. Aspire Design and Home is this year’s design media sponsor.

Proceeds from the showhouse support the Brooklyn Heights Association, which was founded in 1910 and whose advocacy is critical to preserving Brooklyn Heights’ remarkable architecture.

The Show House is open through October 30th. Visit www.brooklyndesignershowhouse.com/tickets/ to reserve your spot.
