Sossego Fall Product Round Up
Modern Brazilian design lifestyle brand Sossego is transforming its NYC showroom this fall. Located on the thirteenth floor, Sossego’s flagship offers a respite from the hustle and bustle of urban life while experiencing the modern, comfortable lifestyle of Brazil through furniture, lighting, and art. The space features live, work, and play vignettes to inspire commercial and residential design.
Sossego [So-SAY-go] is the Portuguese term to describe a uniquely Brazilian way of life; one of easygoing warmth and bliss, and this feeling can be experienced through Sossego’s designs. The company was founded in 2015 by Jonathan Durling, who spent his childhood in Brazil and fell in love with its natural beauty and relaxed culture. He formed a partnership with musician and software savant-turned-furniture designer Aristeu Pires to bring Brazilian design to the United States. Categories for the brand include seating, tables, bedroom, lighting, outdoor, art, and accessories. An in-stock program brings select pieces to your door in 7-14 days.
Recently launched products are all new members of current popular Sossego families created by award-winning designer Aristeu Pires and include the Aurora Lounge Chair, the Pitu Sofa, the Duda all-wood outdoor chair, and the revamped Zaha Tables.
