Guy Regal Presents Nine Sketches by Halston
Guy Regal presents an exceptional set of nine framed ink sketches by American fashion designer Halston, now available in his New York Design Center showroom, Suite 806.
Roy Halston Frowick, known mononymously as Halston, was an American fashion designer who rose to international fame in the 1970s and redefined American fashion. His minimalist, clean designs, often made of cashmere or ultrasuede, were a then new phenomenon. Known for creating a relaxed urban lifestyle for women, Halston’s designs were usually simple, minimalist yet sophisticated, glamorous, and comfortable.
The designer’s life is back in the public eye as Netflix recently released “Halston,” a five-episode miniseries based on the designer’s life.
The fashionable framed series from Guy Regal reflects Halston’s preferred sketching method with initial design ideas and concepts hand drawn on legal-sized notepaper.
