LANDED INTERIORS

Lynn Kloythanomsup is the founding principal of Landed Interiors. Her design approach is both concept-driven, motivated by contemporary and outsider art, and founded on real building techniques, inspired by classicism in architecture and her upbringing in a family working in the construction trades. She credits the frequent cross-country trips of her childhood—she’s been to almost every state in the country in a van with her endlessly curious Asian American family — for exposing her to a wide range of architectural styles and material cultures, fostering an appreciation for classic and current American design. Along with a degree in Interior Architecture and Design, she reserves time for continuing education as a professional member of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art. Following the selection of her apartment for a feature in Domino magazine, Lynn launched her company in San Francisco in 2015, first as a sole practitioner, and officially with a team in place in 2019. In 2023 after being named to the Frederic It List, Landed Interiors expanded the practice to service East Coast projects with a New York office. The studio practice today is bicoastal, defined by the projects the team love most: intimate homes for curious clients.
