Christopher Farr Cloth Opens at 200 Lex!
The Christipher Farr Cloth Showroom (suite 716) celebrates its opening and 25 years of the renowned collection of textiles, trims, and wallpaper on Tuesday, October 14th making the company’s first flagship in America.
To celebrate the new space, Christopher Farr Cloth will have two special collections on display: the new Sky Drops, created in collaboration with Japanese design studio Nendo, and quilts from their 25-year anniversary collection.

Inspired by the ephemeral beauty and movement of rain, the collection explores the shifting moods of rainfall through five distinctive textile designs, each capturing a unique atmospheric quality.
In Japan, rain has long been an important cultural theme, reflected in the more than forty words used to describe its many forms, from niwaka-ame, a sudden, brief shower to shigure which describes the specific rain that falls in late autumn. This attentiveness to detail defines Japanese design, where every nuance is considered and simplicity is never empty but always imbued with intention.
Through our collaboration with Nendo, we sought to express this cultural sensitivity, merging Eastern sensibility with the artisanal craftsmanship of Christopher Farr Cloth. The result is a collection that feels both poetic and purposeful, capturing the rhythm of rain and bringing quiet, calming elegance to contemporary interiors.
The Sky Drops collection includes designs Cloudy Day, Cloudy Night, Haze, Drizzle, and Squall. Our Autumn/Winter launch also features Asama Ecru, a luxurious sheer fabric, along with a selection of playful yet durable wallpapers.
25 Years of Cloth
From intricate craftsmanship to bold innovation, Christopher Farr Cloth has spent the past quarter-century bridging cultures and design styles to redefine what it means to create with meaning. For us, true luxury lies in creating a thoughtful legacy: it’s not just about patterns that speak to today, but about the stories we leave behind for tomorrow.
The anniversary collection brings together some of our most cherished collaborators, those who’ve shaped our journey from the very beginning. The collection features five chairs and six quilts, each designed by the likes of Martin Brudnizki, Kit Kemp, Ron Arad, Julian Chichester, and more. Together, these pieces stand as a tribute to the artistic integrity, collaborative spirit, and creativity that define Christopher Farr Cloth.
This will be the first time the collection is publicly displayed in the US, and it will remain on show in the showroom until the end of October.
