PROVENCE II by Jennifer Manners
Jennifer Manners, New York Design Center suite 911, expands its acclaimed Provence collection, a study in relaxed refinement inspired by the unhurried rhythm of life in the South of France.
Hand-woven in the company’s award-winning /re/PURPOSE PERFORMANCE technology, a fibre crafted from recycled water bottles, the collection captures the sun-warmed texture of natural grasses reminiscent of sisal and jute. The result is a material that feels both grounded and elevated: organic in appearance, yet engineered for modern living.
The original designs, Antibes, Marseille, Cassis and Mougins, established Provence as a quietly sophisticated foundation for both classical and contemporary interiors, balancing texture, structure and subtle pattern.
Four new designs now extend the narrative. St. Tropez offers a tightly woven, small-scale stripe that brings crisp Riviera tailoring to the floor. St. Maxime layers a natural sisal-look base with fine double stripes across the width, creating gentle structure with an easy charm. Cannes presents a sharp three-colour grid, smart and composed, while Montpellier delivers stronger graphic lines tempered by delicate detailing and a considered interplay of colour and natural tones.
Each piece is woven to evoke the tonal warmth of jute and sisal, yet benefits from the inherent performance of /re/PURPOSE PERFORMANCE: stain-resistant, bleach-cleanable and certified for commercial-grade abrasion. Durable yet soft underfoot, the rugs are suited as readily to townhouses and country homes as to boutique hotels and high-traffic spaces.
Custom sizing underscores the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship, while an average rug repurposes more than 7,000 recycled water bottles, transforming single-use waste into enduring design.
With Provence II, Jennifer Manners redefines what a natural-look rug can be: effortless, elegant and consciously made, a foundation for interiors that value longevity as much as beauty.
