The Tribeca Collection by Amuneal and Athena Calderone
The Tribeca Collection is the result of a creative collaboration between Amuneal (Suite 1314) and Studio Athena Calderone; born from a shared belief that great design is shaped as much by instinct, curiosity, and lived experience as by technical mastery. Originally conceived for Athena Calderone’s Tribeca home, the collection evolved through a true exchange of ideas into a series of furnishings that celebrate the beauty of craftsmanship in everyday living.
For much of its history, Amuneal (Suite 1314) operated quietly behind the scenes, fabricating highly detailed custom work for some of the world’s leading Brands, Designers, and Architects. Over the past decade, the company has stepped forward with its own design voice—developing products defined by both their refined aesthetic and the meticulous fabrication that has always been at the heart of its work.
When Studio Athena Calderone approached Amuneal about collaborating on pieces for her new home in Tribeca, the opportunity felt like a natural meeting of perspectives. Like Amuneal, Studio Athena Calderone’s work is rooted in a reverence for craftsmanship and the enduring beauty that emerges from the imprint of its maker. Drawing on early 20th-century design, they compose spaces and bespoke products with a deliberate, considered approach. Each project is guided by the belief that the most compelling designs are those where form, function, and the human touch converge.
What began as a series of pieces designed specifically for Athena’s home—quickly revealed the potential for something larger. Through a true exchange of ideas, the collaboration evolved into a growing collection of mirrors, hardware, shelving, and furniture.
Offered in carefully considered configurations and finishes, the Tribeca Collection merges the spirit and craftsmanship of Amuneal’s custom work with the elegance and refinement of Studio Athena Calderone’s approach, creating designs that bring bespoke craftsmanship into everyday living.
