Tile: A Versatile and Timeless Table and Stool
The Davis Design Team, renowned for its collaborations with top industrial design talent worldwide, embarked on a collective in-house project. The result is Tile, a timeless yet highly flexible stool and table solution, ready to serve a wide variety of interior applications. As Rob Easton, VP of Design and Development at Davis Furniture, shared, “In the process of developing Tile, our team delved deep into Davis’ history and current product offering. We set out to bridge some of the gaps we identified, crafting a product that is not just functional but also an enduring design. The outcome is a classic yet timeless design that we are confident will provide a lasting solution for our clients.”
Tile’s unique selling point lies in its versatility. This product was designed to be specified as either a stool or a table, offering a unique functional adaptability that is complemented by its aesthetic adaptability. Designers can choose between an upholstered top for use as a stool, an ash, oak, or walnut veneer top, or a FENIX™ Innovative Material top for use as a table, making it a versatile choice for any interior.
The tapered cast aluminum base adds to Tile’s aesthetic appeal and can be specified in polished aluminum or powder-coated in over 35 powder coat hues. Additionally, Tile is designed to be stackable, providing added storage and versatility for any space.
