The Albarda outdoor dining chair was inspired by a vintage colonial Basque dining chair found in Spain at the home of Enrique Montoliu, the designer of the Jardin de L’Albarda. The garden is now owned by the FUNDEM foundation. Founded by Montoliu, the foundation’s purpose is to protect nature, conserve Mediterranean flora and fauna and create sustainable gardens with native plants that consume minimal water and less chemical products. Munder Skiles, who is opening a new showroom in Madrid in September 2022, is pleased to donate a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of all Albarda Chairs to FUNDEM.
