The Gallery at 200 Lex Celebrates Traditional English Antiques
The exhibit launched with a night honoring Christian Jussel and William DeGregorio’s newly published volumes: English Furniture 1680 – 1760 and English Needlework 1600 – 1740; The Percival D. Griffiths Collection.
The Gallery at 200 Lex, a revolutionary space that hosts over 50 of the finest antique, vintage, and 21st-century dealers, celebrates exquisite examples of English Antique Furniture and Needlework in an exhibition.
The exhibition coincides with the newly published books English Furniture 1680 – 1760 and English Needlework 1600 – 1740; The Percival D. Griffiths Collection (Volumes I and II) by Christian Jussel and William DeGregorio. Experts in their field, the volumes delve into Griffiths’ collection, which, according to DeGregorio, is unmatched: “I don’t think anybody could recreate the type of collection that Griffiths had today.”
Curated by Catherine Lee Davis, former style director and market editor at Elle Décor, Veranda and House Beautiful, The English Antiques and Needlework exhibit features antiques from Clinton Howell Antiques, Hyde Park Antiques, O’Sullivan Antiques, Yew Tree House Antiques, and Michael Pashby Antiques. All items are available to purchase at The Gallery at 200 Lex.
