Part of The Met x Ann Gish collection. Dating from 2300–2100 BCE, a set of hand-hammered gold sheets, formed into leaves and flowers, inspired this design. Hand-carved in wax then cast in brass, the adornment mirrors the hand-hammered texture of the original.
