UK’s Dovetail project brings master craftsmanship to Manhattan
This October, Manhattan will play host to a celebration of British creativity as Dovetail makes its debut: a dynamic new initiative presented in partnership with the British design industry and His Majesty’s Consul General in New York.
From October 14-30, New York’s design lovers can follow a curated trail of showrooms showcasing the very best of British craftsmanship. Kicking off at the New York Design Center at 200 Lexington Avenue, which houses a number of British brands, and then travels throughout the city.

Curated by author and Dovetail co-founder Helen Chislett, the programme shines a spotlight on the finest British makers, featuring work from the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) and alumni of The King’s Foundation – both champions of exceptional craft and heritage.
