FREDERIC Magazine Celebrates The 2025 It List!
Dara Caponigro, Editor in Chief of FREDERIC magazine, announces the recipients of FREDERIC’s third annual It List Awards. The Class of 2025 includes interior designers Rebecca Amir, Lindsay Falconer, Nathan Német and Beatrice Tait-Loft of Studio N&TL, Valerie Peña, Ellie Peugeot, Justice Quinn, Emily and Joe Reilly of Coal Cornwall, Beatriz Rose, Anna Still and Marguerite Johnson of Still Johnson, Adam Ben Wagner, and Michael Zipp.
In keeping with FREDERIC’s philosophy that discovering new talent is as important as celebrating industry icons, the magazine’s editorial team scours the globe each year to find the most promising and exciting up-and-coming designers. The newest It List honorees hail from Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles, Oklahoma, and Alabama.
The It List Class of 2025 will be recognized in Volume XVIII of FREDERIC magazine, now available on newsstands. Each award recipient received a $10,000 stipend from The FREDERIC Fund, established to support gifted designers early in their careers. The designers were also celebrated at the annual It List Awards gala held on Wednesday, October 8th, at Nine Orchard in New York City.
Hosted by FREDERIC and sponsored by Matouk and 200 Lex showroom Schumacher (suite 1516), the event gathered the most influential figures in the worlds of interior design and style. Each of the evening’s honorees were presented with the It List award, a bronze oak leaf designed by sculptor Stephen Antonson, which symbolizes the beauty of growth and strength.
“I’m so proud that in just a few short years, the It List issue and awards gala have become an industry pillar—a much-anticipated showcase of emerging talent and a can’t-miss event that even the most established designers look forward to,” says Caponigro. “I have always believed that one of the most important jobs of being an editor is discovery—of beauty, of integrity, of authenticity, and most importantly, of talent, both established and emerging. I am so proud of the careers I’ve helped launch, and it’s thrilling that designers of every age see FREDERIC as the place to be published. We are so excited to continue discovering and celebrating top talent.”
One of the design industry’s most celebrated tastemakers, Caponigro has long been a leader in identifying and recognizing the next generation of talent. Prior to launching FREDERIC, she served as Editor in Chief of Veranda, Style Director of Domino, Design and Decoration Director of Elle Décor, and Decoration Director of House Beautiful.
