Heritage II Collection
Following the success of the Heritage Collection launched in Autumn 2024, Jennifer Manners introduces four new rug designs later this year, continuing the studio’s exploration of classical design through a contemporary lens. Rooted in the elegance of historic interiors, the Heritage Collection reinterprets traditional rug motifs with a modern sensibility, defined by a sheared pile, softened pattern, and heavily faded, time-worn colour palettes. The new designs build on the same philosophy, drawing inspiration from some of England’s most storied houses, each selected for its distinct architectural character and atmosphere. The four additions, Hever, Ashton, Wentworth, and Packwood, translate the spirit of their namesake houses into rugs that feel enduring, grounded, and quietly expressive. From the restrained authority of Hever to the lived-in warmth of Packwood, each design balances historical reference with contemporary ease, allowing the rugs to anchor interiors without dominating them. Developed in close collaboration with Jennifer Manners’ long-standing production partners in India, the collection employs a proprietary finishing technique that achieves a gently worn appearance while preserving the strength and integrity of the fibre. The result is a series of rugs that feel softened by time, yet crafted for modern living. Designed to sit confidently beneath furniture and alongside art and architecture, the expanded Heritage Collection offers designers a versatile foundation; one that brings structure, warmth, and a sense of permanence to both formal and relaxed interiors.
