200 Lex Debuts New Digital Product Catalog
The New York Design Center today announces the launch of its Digital Product Catalog featuring hundreds of introductions from its showrooms.
The New York Design Center houses nearly 100 showrooms representing more than 500 lines of residential and contract furniture in addition to fabric, floor coverings, lighting, wall coverings, kitchen and bath, and decorative accessories. For the first time today, a selection of each showroom’s latest product introductions will be available for online viewing at wnwn.nydc.com
Including more than 350 designs, the Digital Product Catalog allows users to browse the newest products debuting during this year’s What’s New, What’s Next event, and connect directly with showroom representatives to make a purchase. Users can search products by category or showroom and can download tear sheets for more information on specifications including dimensions, materials, and pricing.
“200 Lex has always served as New York’s destination for design, and with the launch of the Digital Product Catalog we can expand our footprint to reach a global design community,” says Jim Druckman, President/CEO of The New York Design Center. “As the demand for additional access and virtual shopping experiences continues to grow, this investment in our digital marketplace creates new ways to shop our showrooms, supporting the in-person experience. We’re so proud to unveil this new resource, amidst the twelfth annual What’s New, What’s Next event, allowing designers and consumers alike to continue to access the latest from 200 Lex 24/7 from any device.”
To celebrate the launch, the What’s New, What’s Next ambassadors, a dynamic group of 94 designers from across the US, will share a curated selection of products from the catalog debuting on the WNWN homepage.
To come later this fall, the catalog will be updated to include additional functionality to allow for a fully shoppable access point to the New York Design Center. User experience enhancements will include the ability to schedule live video chats with showroom representatives, keep an online appointment calendar, create an interactive profile to save favorite product designs, and more.
For consumers looking for shopping guidance, The New York Design Center offers its Access to Design™ program, providing tools and resources to assist consumers navigating the design process. Learn more and schedule a virtual appointment here.
