Decorators Club Elsie de Wolfe Luncheon
The Decorators Club held its Elsie de Wolfe Luncheon on Monday, April 20th, at an Iconic New York City member’s club. The Decorators Club Elsie de Wolfe Award is named for the legendary Elsie de Wolfe, credited as America’s first interior decorator and founder of the profession at the turn of the century. This annual fundraiser supports The Decorators Club Education Fund’s Scholarship Program. This year, the club celebrated the iconic Martha Stewart.
Established in 1914, The Decorators Club is an organization of New York area businesswomen in the fields of interior design, architecture, education, decorative arts, as well as industry executives. Its non-profit arm, The DC Education Fund, supports interior design education by awarding scholarships of up to $100,000 annually to high school students with financial need attending pre-college courses in design at five nationally accredited design schools in NYC.
