Discover the Exquisite Nagomi Textile Collection by Jiun Ho
Jiun Ho’s latest fabric collection ‘Nagomi’ (meaning peace in Japanese) was inspired by his Sonoma, CA garden. Comprised of eight SKU’s, it features multiple techniques and colorways, from the double layered embroidery in ‘Ikebana’ to performance boucle ‘Roji’ and indoor-outdoor ‘Obi’.
KEBANA
Double-layer embroidery creates depth and luxury in this lavish modern centerpiece, named for the art of Japanese flower arranging.
SHIBUI
With its soft hand and lush drape, shibui (Japanese for refinement), is a deceptive beauty: post-consumer recycled polyester is woven into a cloth with exceptional wear and washability.
DAISUGI
Daisugi, a dramatic embroidered linen using multiple stitch techniques, is named for a form of Japanese Bonsai pruning that results in spectacular layered trees.
ROJI
Created using an indoor-outdoor bouclé yarn and complex weave structures, this textural textile suggests the appearance of Roji—”dewy ground” in Japanese.
SUJI
Named for a shibori dying technique that forms linear bands, this weighty Italian woven uses a double-cloth structure to create its modern, stippled stripe pattern.
SASHIKO
This tone-on-tone cloth uses 100% embroidery coverage to achieve a luxe drape and an intriguing allover pattern reminiscent of stitched sashiko embroidery.
OBI
Obi is a mesmerizing small-scale pattern created with a deflected weave: a heavy yarn undulates across the face of the fabric. This indoor-outdoor fabric was inspired by a traditional Japanese Obi sash.
KORI
Kori is an indoor-outdoor textile woven with a plush chenille yarn. The contrast in color between warp and weft adds visual interest to this elegant plain.
