FREDERIC Magazine Announces the Recipients of FREDERIC’s Second Annual It List Awards
FREDERIC magazine celebrated the recipients of FREDERIC’s second annual It List Awards on Wednesday, October 9, at Nine Orchard. The event was a gathering of the most influential figures in the worlds of interior design and style. Each winner was gifted with the iconic leaf-shaped bronze award, commissioned last year by sculptor Stephen Antonson. The award symbolizes transformational power in nature and design. The gala was hosted by FREDERIC magazine and sponsored by Matouk and Schumacher.
The Class of 2024 includes interior designers Armando Aguirre, John Bambick, Reilly Townsend Dinzebach, Nick Gagne, Maggie Getz, Kristin Ellen Hockman, Abigail Marcelo Horace, Anu Jain, Kate Ives Marshall, Paul du Pré de Saint Maur, Forrest Walterhoefer, and Isabella Worsley.
The It List is comprised of a select group of up-and-coming interior designers from across the country and internationally. In keeping with FREDERIC’s philosophy that discovering new talent is as important as celebrating master designers, the editorial team at FREDERIC has scoured the globe to introduce the world to the best design that is yet to come.
“I have always believed that discovering new talent and helping young designers get a leg up is an essential job of being an editor. We hope that FREDERIC is a place that nurtures new talent as much as it is a place where young designers can find inspiration from the icons of our industry. This is not an “in” and “out” list. We see the awards as a way to help designers develop their careers — and we are so proud of our very first class!” says Caponigro.
The It List Class of 2024 is recognized in Volume XIV of FREDERIC magazine, currently on newstands. Each award recipient recieved a $10,000 stipend to help grow their design business.
