On Saturday February 1st, 2020 designers, architects and industry insiders came out to support the 3rd annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House in Palm Beach, Florida.
This year, 19 renowned design firms from across the country were given the unique opportunity to take part in one of the design industry’s most coveted events. A combination of creativity and talent, each designer transformed their space in the South Florida plantation style home and paid homage to the tropical climate that is the Floridian Lifestyle. Jonathan Savage’s pool pavilion was the perfect combination of indoor and outdoor living as he utilized lush fabrics from Perennials and window treatments from The Shade Store. Joe Lucas’s cozy guest suite came together mixing items from his Harbinger showroom and wallpaper from Fromental. Each area of the house was the perfect combination of something new, something old and something borrowed. Whether it was from a designer’s showroom, home office or incorporating antiques; each object, fabric and piece of furniture balanced one another.
All proceeds from the showhouse benefit the Kips Bay Boys & Girls, Club, a non-profit organization that provides educational and developmental programs aimed to enhance and enrich the quality of life for young people, with an emphasis on young people between the ages of 5 -18 years old.
