For her debut collaboration with KAIA Editions in the United States, Pauline Leprince presents Beneath the Surface, a series of sculptural metal and glass works that explore the tension between appearance and inner reality. The collection includes a console, mirror, and lamp, where burnt metal bears the irreversible trace of fire and glass introduces fragility, transparency, and light. Moving beyond the decorative, these pieces confront the viewer with material, memory, and vulnerability. Together, they offer a powerful reflection on identity, exposure, and the emotional depth beneath the surface.

Leftbank Art invites you to a special Women in Design open house celebrating the work of three visionary designers whose practices embody collaboration, artistry, and thoughtful design: Catherine Freshley, Mary Elizabeth Marvin, and Nikki Chu. Together, these designers represent distinct creative perspectives, united by a shared commitment to materiality, process, and the seamless integration of art within interior spaces. For this year’s Women in Design, Sossego invites you to reflect on legacy as something actively built through artistic expression. The showroom transforms into a space for an art exhibition by Brazilian artist Carin Kulb Dangot, who is also invited to create a one-of-a-kind live intervention anchored by the Angela Armchair. Responding to the chair’s origin story, the work engages the belief that a person’s memory endures as long as their name continues to be spoken.
