Currey & Company:

Currey & Co presents their Liquid Gold Console Table. This solid cast brass table adds blind to any space and is designed by the quintessential New Yorker – Sasha Bikoff.

Visit Currey & Co on the 5th Floor of The New York Design Center in Suite 506.

FBC London: 

FBC London‘s founder and head creative, Fiona Barratt-Campbell, has a soft spot for New York – she graduated from NY’s own Parsons School of Design. FBC joins the NYDC celebration of NYCxDesign featuring four of its designs that a NY state of mind.

Texture, colour and the contrast of nature and materiality all combine in the timeless world of FBC London. With an obsessive focus on craft and innovation, reframing traditional practices through contemporary designs.

The synergy of FBC LONDON and NYCxDESIGN come together for an open house in Suite 401. Tuesday, May 17, 1pm – 6pm.

skram furniture:

Skram Furniture’s meeting table and armchair were both finalists for NYCxDesign’s Awards. The Piedmont Meeting Table was chosen as the winner for Best Contract Table/Desk this year.

Cliff Young Ltd.:

Tosca III Table with Ottoman is a modern elegant piece that can stand alone or be even more striking and versatile when paired with the Tosca Ottoman. Tosca III is a finalist in the NYCxDesign Made in the Boroughs category.   

Cliff Young will be hosting an Open House from May 11th – May 20th to celebrate their nomination as well as introducing their Quicker Ship program.  

Baker | McGuire:

Thomas Pheasant’s new introduction for McGuire channels the pure aesthetic and natural simplicity found in Japanese culture, art, design and environments. The Crossing Duo Cocktail Table is an eye-catching piece that plays with form and intersection. Designer Thomas Pheasant embraced the oak’s natural grain to create an intriguing pattern of lines and shapes.

Grand Re-Opening of Baker | McGuire invites everyone to explore the newly-renovated space on the 3rd Floor. Open House May 10th-20th.

Wexler Gallery:

Wexler Gallery is pleased to present Botanica: Inspired by Nature, an exhibition of work by Wexler artists anchored by an installation of Botanica chandeliers, an NYCxDESIGN Award Finalist, by Andreea Avram Rusu. Artists shown include Patrick Weder, Trish DeMasi, Edward McHugh, Gregory Nangle, Gulla Jonsdottir, Andy Paiko, Feyza Kemahlioglu, Stephen Shaheen and Reynold Rodriguez.

KONEKT:

Konekt presents the Armor Pendant.

The Armor Pendant features a carefully crafted hand-blown glass pendant draped with finished stainless steel chainmail. Pulling from the intricate use of chainmail in Medieval armor, Konekt reinterprets its materiality by creating a balance between the strength that the metal mesh evokes and the delicate and elegant nature of hand-blown glass.

Visit the Danish Circular Design Showroom and see what the future of sustainability looks like from the lens of everyday interior design and furnishings. This is a rare opportunity to experience exceptionally crafted Danish designs that exemplify how the circular economy can be used to guide the design process and improve sustainability.

The Danish Circular Design Showroom will exhibit brands such as We:Do:Wood, Ege Carpets, B&O, SMALL Revolution, Skovby, Aluproff, Fritz Hansen, and Puuf. The exhibition is open to the public and free to visit.

Dennis Miller New York:

Dennis Miller New York presents the Spire Leaf Pendant 9 from Boyd Lighting. The Spire Leaf Pendant 9 is a beautiful focal piece and can be used to create large systems in grand spaces. Dynamic design by Jake Oliveira.

The Rug Company:

Anemone by Stephen Doherty from the new Sarabande Foundation Collection. The Rug Company has collaborated with the Sarabande Foundation – the charity established by Lee Alexander McQueen in London to champion bold creativity, empower craftsmanship and support the next generation of artists and designers from around the globe – to produce five new designs.

In addition, The Rug Company will be donating Regalia by Vivienne Westwood to the NYCxDESIGN fundraising initiative, their first ever art and design auction curated by Interior Design magazine’s Editor in Chief that will be promoted and sold on Artsy.

Constellation Centaurus Pyramid is a world-class work of art designed by Sonneman to be an installation in commercial and residential markets, available in Satin Brass 2400K. 

Sonneman will be hosting an Open-House through NYCxDesign with live walk-throughs of their 2022 Product Additions.

Lexington Home Brands:

Lexington Home presents the Apricity Cocktail Table. A truly unique piece, the Apricity Cocktail Table showcases all the glamor and sophistication that New York City emblematizes.

Cosulich Interiors & Antiques:

Cosulich is highlighting their Italian Contemporary Bespoke Ivory Cabinets with New York Blue & Gold Skyline throughout the NYCxDesign Festival. As this piece’s design is inspired by New York City, the pair of Italian design contemporary one-of-a-kind cabinets/sideboards, entirely handcrafted with high-quality execution. Each cabinet has an exceptionally different design in the front, with a New York skyline glass sculpture in relief, framed in a round brass border. The decor uses textured Murano glass in navy blue, tinted mirror, copper, gold earth tones and variable thickness to give a 3D effect.

Arnold Collective:

Arnold Collective puts forth three pieces for NYCxDesign Fest at 200 Lex: The Michael Desk, Michaela Credenza, and Renee Wall Panel. These three pieces are part of the DRP Collection, a curated resimercial line for the contemporary workspace.

Leftbank Art:

Leftbank Art presents Light My Way, a striking image of large-scale faces printed on acrylic. In addition, Leftbank Art also welcomes you to their new expanded showroom for an open house tour throughout NYCxDesign.

Presenting the KravetSoleil Indoor/Outdoor Collection.

Ann Gish & The Art of Home:

Ann Gish & The Art of Home presents Lever du Soleil.

Rays of sunlight in brilliant golden tones and bold stripes of blue and white form the pattern of this resplendent jacquard, which reminds us of sunny summer days in the city. Inspired by an early 20th century sketch of unknown French origin, the Lever de Soleil collection is available as Euro Shams and a padded throw as part of the Met x Ann Gish Collaboration.

Stop by Ann Gish & The Art of Home on May 17th from 12pm-5pm for open house. In addition, throughout NYCxDesign’s 10th Anniversary Festival a raffle for a $500 gift card will be held in the showroom! Calger Lighting:

Calger Lighting presents Vibia Top by Ramos & Bassols. The Top Collection are soft spherical shapes that emit warm luminescence reimagining the timeless rosette motif. It is crafted of aluminium and available in 4 sizes and 4 colors.
